Faculty Development and Support

Faculty members are responsible for maintaining high-quality teaching and continuously improving and upgrading their knowledge. A substantial number of international prints and online journals in many management fields are available in the university library to assist professors in their research. The college also supports participating faculty’s pursuit of excellence in research, teaching and service in the following ways:

• Subsidies: Each year, MOST and MOE will award faculty members with outstanding performance in research, teaching, and service. Approximately 25 to 50 faculty members can receive this award each year, which is worth approximately USD$ 3,500 to 29,000.
• Faculty Development Center: The College’s Faculty Development Center is an excellent channel for interactions among all faculty members in different departments. Each department in the college takes turns inviting professionals to deliver speeches. Professionals share their expertise or introduce the latest business trends, discussing possible cooperative research projects with faculty members. This will strengthen the learning community and create an opportunity for constituent groups to interact and learn from one another.
