Exchange program and Dual-degree program: The College expects to enhance students' global mobility through exchange and dual-degree programs. Students can be inspired by different cultures both in classes and in extracurricular activities, thereby broadening their global vision
Many medium- or large-sized companies offer internship opportunities to students during winter and summer vacations. Both undergraduates and graduates experience a real business working environment and develop an understanding of the industry's structure. In each semester, students from all departments visit different well-known national or international companies. Students gain a better understanding of enterprise operations and organizational structure from explanations offered by company representatives
Departmental Students Associations will arrange annual summer/winger camps. Through summer/winter camps, not only could senior high school students experience campus life but also the college could increase its exposure and boost its enrollment rate. Moreover, each department's students could acquire leadership skills by coordinating these events.
Many enterprises and academic institutions periodically sponsor different types of students competitions. For instance, there are marketing competitions, commercial competitions, innovation competitions, and Master's/Doctoral these competitions. The theme of most of the competitions sponsored by enterprises is usually based on real challenges and difficulties, thus enabling students to apply their acquired specialized knowledge, creativity, and problem-solving skills to come up with several solutions.
To cultivate research talent, MOST has created a Student Research Award to train students in advanced research activities. Each year, students who are interested in research work will be instructed by faculty members and apply for MOST students research projects. After the projects have been completed, students can compete for student research awards. From 2016 to 2021, there were 61 student research projects, 8 of which eventually won a creativity award.
