The college seeks to maintain diversity in recruiting undergraduate, master's, and doctoral students by offering regular promotional and extended programs. In the pursuit of diversity and internationalization, the colelge has recruited foreign students from more than 30 countries, including Austria, Belize, Thailand, Canada, China, Cambodia, Eswatini, France, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Myanmar, and the Netherlands. These students' educational backgrounds are also quite diverse and include fields such as language and linguistics, biology, engineering, and economics.

According to demographic studies conducted by the Ministry of the Interior's Department of Household Registration, Taiwan birth rate has decreased from 15.5% to 9.10% over the past 20 years, with a significant influence on the student population. Because of this decrease in the student population, the MOE has adjusted each public university's enrollment quota.

Undergrduate Program-Each university may set enrollment conditions according to its characteristics and enroll students with appropriate abilities.
Master's Continuing Education Master's Program-Students can apply for master's/continuing master's programs mainly through two channels: application is granted based on the results of a document review and an interview; in the entrance examination channel, admission is granted based on the results of a written examination on designated subjects designated by each department/institute.
